Separation process of Brightway micro-tunneling slurry separation plant:
1. The function of the slurry separation plant is used to separate and treat the slurry formed by shield cutting soil sand and then pump the recycled mud into the adjustment tank. The use of shale shaker as the first-phase separation is appropriate and reasonable. The role of the shale shaker is to pre-treat the slurry, and remove the coarse particles in clumps and lumps. The separation of the coarse particles adopts multi-layer shale shaker to meet the classification of particles, and different sizes of particles through the separation of the shale shaker screen in various meshes o meet the field requirements of the required slurry particles to be used at site. In the process, the particles greater than screen mesh is excluded out of the system, and the slurry after the filtration of the shaker screen goes into the sedimentation tank.
2. Hydrocyclone separation system mainly consists of desanding and desilting parts, and the main function is to do the further treatment of the finer slurry which comes shale shaker separation, and reduce the size of the slurry step by step, so as to achieve the goal of hydrocyclone separation and solids control. The working principle of the hydrocyclones is based on the hydrodynamic high-speed centrifugal force generated by rotation to achieve the purpose of processing. Using the hydrocyclone pump to make the hydrocyclones produce negative pressure in the rotation of the hydrocyclones and force the suspended fine particles inside the hydrocyclones to have spiral rises by centrifugal effect, then they are squeezed out by the negative pressure through the overflow outlet, while the coarse and heavy particles in the slurry fall into the abandoned slurry tank of the lower overflow outlet under the force of gravity. The different diameter and neck length ratio and different working pressure of hydrocyclones determine the cyclone treatment effect and processing capacity.
